Hello! I am so, so glad you found your way into my little corner of the internet. I wish I could give you a hug in person just for reading this, because that’s way more my speed than having two screens between us.
This is typically where people put tons of labels and qualifications that they have and tell you why they’re writing and how it will help YOU to do x, y, and z thing. That’s great for people who aren’t me. I don’t want to do that. Instead, I want you to know that if you take away anything from this blog, it should be that I’m passionate about people, but I don’t have it all figured out. I didn’t start this blog as a way to give you the tools I think you need to become perfect; it’s to document my attempt at figuring it all out. And if you learn something from that, great!
Buuuuut . . . since I do believe connection and relationships are the spice of life, here’s a few things about me:
I am obsessed with all things breakfast, but especially smoked salmon bagels.
One of my greatest joys is my dog, Captain. We don’t know what breed he is, what his genetics are, or his back story, but he is the sweetest fluff and I love him with all my heart.
My enneagram and personality test obsession runs deep. I’m a hardcore type 7, if that means anything to you. If it doesn’t, it would bring me a huge amount of joy to share the enneagram with you! Reach out for some info.
I’m kind of a planner slut. I love being organized and productive, and that just realistically is never going to happen for me if my vehicle for being organized and productive is unappealing and boring. More on that later.
And, yes. I am a law-student-almost-lawyer. And while I absolutely love that piece of my life, it’s not the whole story. I had a solid 20 years of life before I decided on a legal path at all, and some days I’m still not confident I made the right choice. That doesn’t stop me from enjoying the ride.
As someone who’s Been There™ I know it can be scary to take big steps and make bold career moves, but sister, you are going to do such wildly inspiring things someday. Could be tomorrow, could be in 16 years - you never know. Because of that, I’d love to hear a bit about YOU now.
